Key Information for 2025 Applicants

To successfully apply for funding, students must meet specific requirements. One key document is the NSFAS Consent Form, which is mandatory for all non-SASSA beneficiaries. This form allows NSFAS to verify your household income to determine eligibility.

Early Applications Are Encouraged

NSFAS strongly advises students, including those currently in Grades 9 to 12, to begin their applications early. Waiting until final results are released or the deadline approaches increases the risk of missing out on essential funding due to last-minute issues.

Applicants should follow these general steps:

  1. Create a myNSFAS Account: Visit www.nsfas.org.za and register.

  2. Update Your Details: Complete your profile and upload the required documents.

  3. Submit Your Application: Once all fields are completed and documents uploaded, submit your application for review.
