Application Process:
Applications for all UCT LLB programmes must be submitted through the undergraduate application system, as all three LLB options are considered undergraduate degrees. These include:

Important Note on Professional Qualification
Under South Africa’s Legal Practice Act 28 of 2014, the LLB degree is the standard legal qualification required for admission as an advocate or attorney.

To become an advocate, graduates typically:

Join a Bar Association

Complete pupillage (training) with a practising advocate
